I’m with Dweezil on this one – it’s a Comet.
When I first saw it, I thought “Comet!”, and searched out a picture to make sure. I’m 1, disappointed that I didn’t see it earlier so I could be the first to respond, and 2, Surprised that it wasn’t answered correctly right away. I think you need to stop with the hints!

My first car was a dark green 1965 Comet Caliente. I have to agree with those who think this is an early 60’s Comet.
