I have to compliment you for finding that aftermarket site..
The TLs front clip actually doesnt look so bad now.
Now if ya could only remove 500-700lbs from the body, take out the awd unit and get the car back to its svelte-ness back in 02.. cut the number of buttons down by 1/2 in the dash an give the car something to scream about…
NTM could ya take the TSX and put it in Jenny Craig too.. paired with the turbo cycl…
Pfffft! George, I guess if by “much better” you mean “much more like Darth Vader’s helmet,” then you’re right on! May the Farce be with You!
[And for the record, I have an Acura that I like a lot, and I’m starting to worry there will never be another Honda product of even merely acceptable styling to replace it with…]
I wondered how long it was going to take the aftermarket to correct Acura’s styling ills. After all, look at how many companies seem to make aftermarket grilles for the Chrysler 300 (which doesn’t have an objectionable OEM one).
Speaking of Chrysler, it reminds me of what occurred at that company during the Airflow sales debacle of the 1930s. To help sell the snubnosed models, at the end of the first model year Chrysler quickly made a more traditional grille available to its dealers as an accessory.
“Hey, Acuras are pretty nice!”
The Acura cake – one of South Park’s finer put downs.

Is it about how the TL would make a better Halloween cake than a TSX? Cuz it’s SCARY FUGLY?!
“Let’s go back to hell… I’ve had enough Acura cake.”
“I’m like one of those rich teenage girls on MTV.’
“No, satan, you’re not that bad.”

The current Acura TL looks much better when you remove the beak/shield grill and substitute a better looking aftermarket grill.

George B; Thank you very much. I may be able to buy a TL after all.

“A fully edible ACURA CAKE!” – probably the best SP episode ever.

Kenny is alive.
