I’m going out on a limb and saying it’s a VW Dasher (or Passat if you live in Europe). Paul has mentioned that car in a few earlier posts, and a MK I Rabbit is just a little too mundane. But is it the hatchback or the wagon? That’s the important question.

This is a late seventies VW Scirocco with a stolen radio.
1st gen. Rabbit. Scirocco and Jetta used the same panel, but with a silver finish. This is either a ’75 – ’78 gasoline engine Rabbit or a ’77 – ’79 diesel. Radio and heater (controls) both missing.
