I did it! I managed to make the last clue for the ’67 Electra convertible hard enough. Or was it the fact that the red taillight lens looked black because it was in the shade on a bright high-contrast picture? Oh well. You guys gave it quite the effort. Let’s see how you do with this one.

Looks like a dirty air filter to me.
Wait wasn’t there a early 60s Buick that had trim like that? Yeah the XP-300, but which GM cars did it influence?

Acadian Beaumont.
Yeah….I was thinking maybe a 63 Acadian, but I don’t think they sold them in the U.S.
Mikey, that is correct…no Acadians in the U.S. We had the small Tempest here in the lower 48. Our first rebadged (Chevy II) Nova came in 1971 with the Ventura II. I lived in Niagara Falls, Ontario from 1968-70 and was fascinated with all the Canadian versions of American vehicles…most particularly the Pontiacs from Acadians to Grande Parisiennes (Canadian Grand Prix)…although during those years the Grande Parisiennes gave way to actual Grand Prixs.
True, they weren’t sold in the states, but they do occasionally trickle down here. Considering the other cars we’ve seen Paul come across this isn’t that much of a stretch.
I don’t know, Trabant? Did someone import a Trabant to Eugene?
I love that Buick that Educatordan showed us, it obviously has nothing to do with this CCC.
Yeah sorry guys, my brain went back to my childhood when I had an old hardcover book that the library was deleting from their collection called “Dream Cars” or something like that. I can’t resist concept cars, my apologies. But perhaps the styling did influence whatever this is?
Datsun 510, around 1970?
I’m thinking late 60’s Dodge… but that’s just a hunch. Can’t quite place it.
Looks suspiciously like the back of a top-end 1965 Plymouth Valiant (200 or Signet). For reasons that I can’t fathom, it’s unusual for an American automaker to use vertical slats on the rear trim panel. Not sure if this is the wagon, sedan or hardtop.
Ford put vertical slats on half their models in the early 60s. But they didn’t look like aluminized plastic…
Looks to me like the original trim was painted over??
It looks familiar, but I can’t place it. Doesn’t look GM-ish…
1959 Frigidaire?
Acadians did trickle down into the US. I remember seeing them occasionally when I was a kid.
