The very difficult indeed Valiant rear vertical trim clue had a very worthy winner in Dr Lemming. Congratulations. Now this is vertical too, and it probably won’t be nearly so difficult. It’s also possible that this fine material was used on more than one car, so we may have multiple correct answers if you can back it up.

Mid 70’s Olds… Maybe Omega.
70 or 71 cutlass or 70 chrysler newport
78-9 Regal
Any of a ridiculous number of GM vehicles between 1970 and 1988. In both two and four door formats.

How about the M-Body Chrysler Lebaron, New Yorker, New Yorker Fifth Avenue and Fifth Avenue?

Keep trying! (not you, David)
1987/88 Olds Cutlass Supreme?
Could also be a early 80’s early 90’s Cutlass Ciera
Definitely a 1980 Olds Cutlass Supreme
It looks 73ish Olds to me, but there was a lot of bad plastic going around back then.
If it is Cutlass Supreme it’s got to be a coupe. His Bonneville review covered the G-body sedans.
Yeah, the coupe. The sedan was just “Cutlass” or “Cutlass Brougham”
Actually my 1987 sedan was a Cutlass Supreme Brougham, all it needed was script that said “by Oldsmobile” and it would have been a truly epic name. :P
1978-79 Mercury Zephyr
X2 on this one
Dodge Diplomat, ’77-’89 generation.
I don’t think it’s a Cutlass, the bottom of the grille appears wrong. I owned a 78, but then again, the 79-80 versions were slightly different.
I’ll guess a 78-80 Mercury Zephyr, preferably a Z7 coupe.
If not, than how about a mid 70’s Monarch?
’88 – ’91 Chrysler New Yorker/Fifth Ave.; ’92 ‘ 93 New Yorker/Fifth Ave.
1976 Mazda Cosmo?
1973 Olds Cutlass. But didn’t you already do a CC on the ‘collonade’ or whatever they were 73-77 GM mid-sizes?
1979 Cadillac Coupe De Ville
What the heck: 1971 Lincoln Continental.
Man, you guys are hot tonight, but only one of you is truly warm. But even that one isn’t on the money.
If you flipped the picture around, it looks like the grill to a 1977 Lincoln Continental Town Car.
Mercury Cougar
’77-’79 Lincoln Mark V.
85-86 Oldsmobile Calais. 84 Olds Ciera
’78 Olds Cutlass, and I have a feeling this is going to be one of GM’s Deadly Sins, having the best selling car in America for several years but blowing it.
Chrysler Imperial – 81
75 Lincoln Continental
1967 Dodge Coronet
Canadian/Mexican market Chrysler Dynasty
67-68 Mercury Cougar
It’s the fence outside my local library.
1976 Olds Delta 88
’90 – ’93 Chrysler Imperial?
