Let’s try something a bit different here. This interior shot means that google is not going to be your friend. On the other hand, anyone who’s ever had one will probably recognize it instantly.
The ’81 Cougar grille kept things hopping. One close answer: KitaIkki said “Cougar”. That covers a lot of territory, but he certainly deserves some recognition.

Bronco II.
Agreed.
Of the 1984 – 1990 vintage to be more precise.
I’m thinking Lumina APV/Trans Sport…but I’m way off.
First thing I thought was 80’s Chrysler mini van.
Definitely a Ford product. From the shapes of the plastic to the speaker to the shape of the front seat, no doubt. Now, if I could just decide which Ford product, cause I don’t want to have to go digging through my massive collection of dealer brochures…
X2
When I saw the speaker grille my mind said “Ford”. The angles and color of the plastic, the attaching screws say Ford all over it.
My vehicle type guess was a compact pickup with extended cab. I’ll combine with supremebrougham, and say Ford Ranger.
I won’t make a guess as to year, though it could be the same part for the full length of the nameplate run.
1990-(ish) Chevy Suburban.
I too will agree that the picture is Ford plastic. My vote is for first generation Escort…1981/82-ish.
Ford Aerostar.
I’m thinking the same.
+1 on this.
Baby Cherokee or Bronco II?
As someone who occasionally drove an Aerostar on a past job, BDB may well be right.
In which case, I’ll kick myself…
Aerostar.
Ford Bronco II. That little diamond shape thing with the slit in it is for the cargo cover i believe. At least that was what i always assumed it was for when i was messing with it riding in the back of my sisters bronco II growing up. That little panel below the speaker comes off and the jack is in there. I suppose it could be an aerostar but i have never been in one.
If I turn out to be right (I’d give myself a 35% shot), I’ll have an interesting backstory about where my hunch came from.
I think you’re right. That was my first hunch too. I would even go as far to say that it’s an Eddie Bauer edition Aerostar based on the seats.
’86-’93 Mazda B-Series truck.
I agree with the Ford Aerostar votes. Friend’s mom had one, and although I was young, those plastics bring up memories…
I dunno. My mom had an 86 Aerostar and nothing in that pic rings any bells for me.
Yup, that’s a Bronco II. Google does have interior pictures but they are a little more obscure.
Thinking Isuzu Amigo or Rodeo?
