Since we had so much fun with body cavity openings lately, let’s do another. This one looks like it may have contracted some nasty disease, though, so make sure you’re careful examining it.
The ’63 Catalina went undiscovered, but two of you came mighty close. Dr. Lemming guessed a ’67 Pontiac, and partsisparts said “early sixties Grand Prix”. Close.

Pontiac Aztec?
I was thinking Ford EXP, but then… it can’t be…!

First thing that came to my mind was the grille of a Dodge Mirada.
1990-1991 Geo Storm?
I feel like saying Z31 300zx, but I don’t think it’s quite the right angle.
Doh! You beat me to it. As I said below, if we’re right it looks like a 1986 or later version of the Z31.
Early 80s Plymouth Duster?
Had several gut hunches, but when I looked to see if they might be it, nothing quite did. Curiosity is definitely piqued.
My memory says it may be one of the following Mid of 80’s Pontiac Sunbird, Mid 80’s Firebird, Geo Storm
A busted-up Eagle Vision.
Colt Vista…. twas a Mitsubishi-based import from Nippon, wasn’t it?
Early or mid-80s?
I was thinking another Pontiac like the early 90s Sunbird. But that seems too easy.
It sure looks like one of the 80s/90s “lazy” pop up headlight cars.
This seems so familiar, yet it’s tough! (Actually, all of these are pretty tough for me.) I immediately thought of the late 80s Sunbird GT, and after searching it still seems to be closest match. It’s funny, after looking at all the different models of small GM late-80s/early-90s cars, it strikes me that even though they seem to be very same-same, there was actually great variety in the front ends, even within the same model!
Eagle Premier or Dodge Monaco?
Paul, you can’t impress me. No clue you post from now on will come close to the colonoscopy shot of two weeks ago. I still cringed when I showed that photo to my wife! Vaguely obscene!
Of the above clue, an 80’s Ford Escort would be my guess.
Jeez, this one is tough. The “body cavity opening” clue is giving me pause, but the first thing that came to mind when I saw that picture was the gap under the Z31 era 300ZX’s headlights. Specifically, one after the 1986 styling refresh.
It is a Nissan NSX?
It isn’t those ugly old Nissan Zs from the 1980s, is it?
Pulsar NX? the first one?
