Having a video like this sent into our contact form is one of the rare treats of being a blogger. Especially because I feel a little like I woke up under the hood of a Soviet-era engine bay this morning. To the anonymous heroes who both made and brought this fine video to our attention, we salute you.

A true EV (Ethanol-powered Vehicle).
Beat me to it.
Best LADA video that I’ve seen.
I doubt I could tolerate the exhaust note.
Oh my!!!!!!
NOW I know why when I called Click n Clack at Car Talk and when the screener asked the topic and I said “TTAC he hung up on me.
Sniff. Sob. Sigh.
For some reason this reminds me of my father-in-law, a guy with a truly strange dry sense of humor. When he put a security system into his house he made an audio recording of himself growling and snarling like a big dog. Chances are though that this did the trick – no telling what craziness one might encounter inside.
It’s a very good thing I had finished my drink before viewing that: Unicomp keyboards are washable, but it’s a pain to separate all the key caps before the “slosh and swirl” procedure.
There are very few video clips I give the “nonpareil” tag to: this is right at the top of my short list.
Fantastic way to start the morning. Does anyone speak arabic? What’s the guy say in the beginning?
Not Arabic. It sounds a bit like Turkish so it could be Uzbek.
Don’t know what he’s saying, either, but I believe the Russian title translates to “One thousand horsepower under the hood”.
It is Chechen. The license plate at least. Not turkish or Uzbek.
Along those lines…
Oh, Jeez, I’ve watched it three times and it still has me laughing out loud.
That was terrible. Loved it.
