My favorite part about the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster isn’t the 700 horsepower V12 or the 217 mph top speed. It’s that, apparently, Lamborghini engineered the wind deflector to avoid messing up one’s hairdo while motoring al fresco. For a better understanding of how we’ve even come to this point as a species, read this essay.

Holy God I think I just wet myself.
Well FWIW my S2000 does nothing but mess my wife’s hair up, she’d appreciate the technological leap forward, as her hair is too short to put in a ponytail, and without it controlled with the top down it gets seriously knotted. Girls tend to like convertibles more anyway, so I can see the appeal of this.
Not that I care, I’m ripping out the rear plastics and roll hoops to install a proper rollbar this weekend. Which will make the wind problem worse. Because Racecar.
Haha “Because Racecar.” LOL
The Murcie will stand as the last real Lamborghini, just as the original Newport Pagnell Vanquish stands as the last real Aston.
FWIW I used to keep scarves in the glove box of my MG and Miata. Not an ideal solution but they seemed to help. Silk.
My favorite part is how damn complicated those panels are.
