“BUT FIRST, OMELETS!” That was the fateful phrase that let us know that we wouldn’t exactly be contending for the overall win in last year’s LeMons race. Or for the class win. Or for the “makes it around the racetrack for one lap” trophy.
This time, it will be different. Well, it could be different.
By the time you read this, Bark M. will be taking the green flag for “Southern Discomfort” at Carolina Motorsports Park. When he gets out, E-I-C pro tem Jack Baruth, also known as “me”, will be taking the wheel. We’re working with a great, no-excuses (and no flagrant lies) team this time and we’re expecting good things. We’ll keep you posted with a wrapup tonight and tomorrow night.

Onward to victory! Hope you had a good breakfast.
AND DOWN THE STRETCH THEY COME!!!!!!!!!!!
(Oh wait, wrong race.)
You gonna make it back out to Buttonwillow in a couple weeks for some Neon action?
Good luck! To me, the “car makes it around the racetrack” trophy is the most important of them all.
Enjoy the drive…
…whatever became of the b-spec series with which you teased us last spring?..
I can’t speak for the EIC, but the neon he drove to victory last year will not be at the Chump Buttonwillow 24-hour this year. The car is resting comfortably after the win (sans Jack) at Chump Thunderhill last month.
Well damn. That car must be sorted out well and dandy. I’m happy to be behind the wheel of something that should be moderately competitive.
According to racemonitor, the BMW is at least functioning. It’s a good step up from what they were dealing with last year.
I can’t wait to read the whole story. That picture creates a whole lot of questions waiting for answers. How did it become a race car? Which engine is up front, V8 or I6? Etc.
Could have gone with a Ronin theme.
“Give me the case!” (Opens a case handcuffed to his arm, showing the bribes)
Will there be t-shirts? They want to know over at http://www.dressedwell.net
