Making its way around the internet lately is this photo of a Toyota Prius, tastefully modified by its present owner. Dancing boldly across the side of the hybrid is the iconic 1990s teal and purple Solo Cup theme. This jazzy decal is well known to anyone who has drank a beverage between 1992 and now.
According to an article at Gas2, the owner’s name is Nate Cook, and he uses his Prius to tow a Sea-Doo that bears a remarkably similar color scheme. (Cook’s Instagram page reveals his deep obsession with the Solo Cup design.)
Overall, it’s awesome. A job well done. #SOLOW

I must admit, I’m a bit skeptical about the long-term effects of dippng a hybrid at the boat ramp.
Best to just let it roll on in the drink.
4 minutes later, you can go out and scoop up all the fish you want floating on the top of the water. Call it Hybrid Synergy Fishing. And nobody has to look at the prius anymore.
My neighbor has a white Toyota Sienna minivan with those EXACT graphics. Is this a thing? Maybe a factory option?
My old Toyota pickup is also painted just like a Solo cup… the solid red kind.
Terrible.
You see Solo cup, I see Trapper Keeper from 1989.
Or an RV/camper trailer (after they graduated to Refrigerator White from Harvest Gold), or a compact truck from the 80s-90s (Mazda being the most common).
Those white Trappers got dirty so fast. Always better to choose a dark color.
I saw Trapper Keeper too. Or most anything 80s with that standard heartbeat in teal and pink. In other words pretty much every low rider B2200 pickup back then. Second place would be the same graphics on a Grand AM or Chevy Beretta
What is really odd: towing with a lowered Prius. This seems like terrible idea.
I don’t mind the graphics on this car.
I need to get this livery in Forza.
On a Suzuki Forenza? Is that what you said?
LOL sorry I can’t help but think of the Forenza when I see the word Forza.
How about a Laforza? That’d be a handful on the track.
I’m surprised they can tow the JetSki with the Prius. Many of those skis are heavier than they look. That has to be quite a torque load on the drivetrain to pull that up the ramp, front wheel drive doesn’t really shine on a wet boat ramp.
The new ones, sure, but that’s an ancient 2 stroke got to be ’95 or older.. Probably weighs under 750 lbs with trailer.
You mean Dixie Cup, Solo Cups are best known for the red frat party cups.

Never mind I just remembered Dixie mostly make those tiny cups you use to rinse your mouth out at the dentist, and solo cups are full size human cups. Dixie definitely uses that design too though.
This would be a great wrap for an X90 or Metro Convertible.
What did Princess Leia keep as a souvenir of her wild night in the back of the Millenium Falcon?
…
Han Solo’s Cup.
Thanks for that headline Corey. Now people are looking at me funny. :D
Now he just needs a girlfriend with big hair. And leg warmers.
That actually a design associated with Dixie cups. Solo cups are red (and are mostly use as fraternity party cups). Not bad graphics on a Prius tbh.
Thank you for completely duplicating and slightly rewording my comment.
