Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the U.S., aka Turkey Day, aka the high holy day of food (and booze-related gluttony), so we’re shuttering a little early today so our American crew can get a jumpstart on the holiday and our Canadian folks can get a little well-earned time off. We’ll be posting here and there over the long weekend, but expect a lighter content mix than usual.
We’ll be back Monday at full-speed, and I will be in Los Angeles next week as the auto show season kicks off in Los Angeles. We’re expecting debuts from Jeep, Subaru, Infiniti, Audi, Jaguar Land Rover, among others, so once you’ve gotten over your turkey coma, shaken off the hangover, gotten over the sore knee from the annual pickup football game, and forgotten that fight you had with your in-laws about the latest news from Washington, mosey on back to take your shots at the newest sheetmetal emerging from L.A.
Until then, drive safe and behave yourselves.

Enjoy the holiday!
Whoooooaaa… an Accord EXi coup. Most definitely not a picture of a turkey.
The CB7 Accord has aged so well.
Agreed.
Agreed.
EX-R IN Canada. But I suspect that this one is an SE.
An SE would have body-colored bumper and side moldings. This is an EX with Honda accessory wheels.
Agreed. Just a beautiful car inside, outside and under the hood.
All the best.
:-)
I’d come close to creaming my pantaloons if that was an Accord wagon. Anyway…
Enjoy the Ascent to the L.A. auto show, everyone!
Happy US thanksgiving!
To the Canadians, Happy November 23rd!
Where’s the ’93 Accord SE that should accompany my ’95 Legend in the garage?? That would make me thankful.
A magical garage with unlimited room for such fine things. So say we all.
Happy Thanksgiving to all the B&B in the United States. May your waistbands not pop after you consume the turkey and all the trimmings and may your political discussions with your relatives not degenerate into fisticuffs :D
That car… I spent countless hours of 1999-2000 looking for one just like that. The people who had them didn’t want to part with them. Too often, I found them with too many miles. Instead, I got a lousy ’94 Pontiac Grand Am.
If one wanted to visit LA, combining it with a trip to the auto show would be an excellent idea.
Happy Thanksgiving, American Girls and boys. Here’s a question for the ages that you gear heads can spend the weekend arguing about between beer runs: All in; money considered, including gas/insurance/repairs; DD/track day car; E36 or E46?
In giving thanks for the early 90’s Accord Coupes, I have to say the 1992 Accord SE coupe in Heather beige is still a good looking car!!
Nice. 5 speed?
I hope all have a great day for Thanks Giving. I just had my Thanks Giving meal with my US brothers and it was great and I thank them.
My brother bought the same accord last year for his 20 year old daughter. 35000 miles. Some old lady owned it from new.
GREAT CAR. LOVE OLDER HONDAS.
She promptly crashed it less than a year later texting on her phone.
I just died inside.
Safe holidays to everyone!
Sweet car. Did the best road trip of my life in one of those.
During winter break in college, almost 20 years ago, we had a drunk idea to drive to NYC for New Years, and we did.
Me and two friends drove from Minneapolis to NYC for New Years. Drove straight through, stopped in Chicago and Cleveland (at 4 AM) to check them out.
After NYC we drove to Boston. Then Atlantic City. Then Washington DC. Then Pittsburgh. Then we went home, but not before stopping in Chicago again.
That was the first time I saw the East Coast and it was great.
I’m spending Thanksgiving on the river at my cousin’s camp. We got a turkey breast and a chicken in the smoker and baked beans cooking on the grille. Its 55° and sunny, couldn’t ask for a nicer day.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
And yes, I love that Accord too.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I’ve always liked Hondas from that period. Simple but functional.
And they have aged quite well, they look nice even now.
