Welcome back my friends, to the show that has yet to end! In this episode of QOTD, I answer the questions that you, the people, have entered into search engine-queries that landed you at TTAC. Let’s get the show on the road:
why cant you put general altimax rt 43 all saeson tirres on a 2007 bmw 328i 2 door coupe? Well, they might tell you that there’s no reason, but there’s a reason, my friend, oh yes there is. And that reason is called… the Illuminati.
what does it mean when they flash high beams? It means they are on to you.
diplomat sales munich scam? Oh yes, I remember this one. It was 1978, the German people were hungry for M-body Mopars, and they didn’t much care what they had to do in order to get them. An unscrupulous man named Qvell Kjale opened up an office in Munich, taking 50 percent deposits for “grey-market” Diplomats with the 318 V8 and velour trim. He took hundreds of deposits before vanishing into the night, leaving heartbreak and sorrow in his wake. The elite group “GSG-9” tracked him to Geneva, where Kjale was seen behind the wheel of an optioned-up 1980 LeBaron. But, despite their best efforts to kill him, the massive power of the de-smogged Chrysler V8 kept him easily ahead of their BMW 520i sedans. Recent rumors have placed Kjale in China, where he is attempting without success to convince the Chinese elite that “Avenir” is a real brand.
what transmission will fit my 1998 grand prix gtp? The one you just removed, you moron! Put it back!

can cold temperatures make dents on body of a f_150? I hate to be the one to tell you this, my friend, but your wife did that at Lowe’s. She’s just telling you stories because it’s worked in the past.
anybody running g force tires on c4 corvette? Anybody? Bueller? Fry?
has porshe corrected the ims issues on the 996? Yup, and they paid for all of them to be fixed out of the goodness of their hearts. Just kidding! You’re screwed.
how did the 4 wheel drive work on a ww2 jeep? Not as well as you’d think. It was open diff city, pal.
curbside classic? Nice try, Paul, but last I heard your requested $50,000 was about $49,900 more than our parent company wanted to spend.
irv gordon’s secret to reaching nearly 3 million miles? Performance enhancing drugs.
cars people own after 10 years? Usually it’s the same car they owned after 9 years.
do street outlaws get paid? No, they usually rely on the revenue from their Los Angeles thrift shop.
pontiac sunbird wagon? You know, it’s not a bad idea, but they didn’t do it past the first restyle.

2009 gmc yukon denali transmission won’t shift? Have you tried swapping it for the transmission from a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP?
That’s all, folks! See you next time!

How many bones, teeth, eye sockets has baruth broke, and when will he start acting his age?
Age is just a number.
You’re only as old as who you feel.
In that case, I’m feeling someone who’s 54, but if she’s an overgrown 14-year-old, does that make me 14?
If that’s the case, then I’m giving myself about five years’ warning to not f*ck off and smoke dope in college.
Hey now, you remember what happened when Q gave Picard a chance to correct old mistakes. $#¡Г went to hell in a handbasket.
#character building
LOL…Lieutenant Picard, in the blue uniform.
If I find a Naussican, I’m throwing down with that b*tch.
Salute given to John’s encyclopedic Next Gen knowledge.
I loved the look on Riker’s face when Lt Picard asked about command. Like he was about to say “Umm, yeah, just GTFO.”
Might have been a different story if Lt. Picard had been a good looking woman.
Without the holodeck, Riker would have been #MeToo’d out of Starfleet.
“If I knew I was going to live this long, I’d have taken better care of myself.” – Mickey Mantle
“You’re only as old as who you feel.”
Isn’t that what Roy Moore said?
As predicted, his false accusers crawled back under their rocks once the election was stolen. You must be very proud.
Human play Dom Jot!

If you’re asking that question, you’ve already turned into a pitiful, complaining, old fart.
Jack is pretty much living like I did when I was his age. Which means, when he finally turns 67, he’s going to find life fun, interesting, and one hell of a good time.
I’m blaming a whole list of things on the Illuminati, starting with the fact that Giancarlo Stanton did not end up with the Cardinals.
Stanton spends more time on the DL than Baruth does.
Which is the Illuminati decreed that Ozuna would be a better fit for the Cards.
They work in mysterious ways.

I sure hope “DL” means Disabled List, as in baseball, and not Down Low, as in Oprah.
The ONLY meaning for DL is Disabled List. Spring training starts in about five weeks.
Charlie Daniels warns Taco Bell about the Illuminati.

I wish I was making this up.
Johnny needs to rosin up that bow and play that fiddle hard.
I thought Charlie was against marijuana use. Is this proof he’s come around to the green side? Ya gotta be pretty paranoid (and hungry) to take the Taco Bell ads seriously.
Btw I just finished a stacker box. Pretty Damn tasty, despite or because of the NWO connection, I’m not sure.
The Illuminati created D&D.
And Minecraft as well.
Common thread: conspiracy to enslave young minds.
what have you been drinking and why hasn’t it been distributed to us!!
why does matt farah keep asking me to buy his cars
Because I keep turning him down.
I admit it Baruth, I laughed hard enough to bring tears to my eyes.
I GUESS CLICKBAIT JACK IS TRYNA PAY OFF THAT CHRISTMAS DEBT!

Or the orthopedic surgeon. Take your pick.
Ha!
“CHINA” JACK BARUTH WITH HIS CHIANG-KAI-SHEKVORADO HAS BROKEN EVERY PROMISE HE EVER DRUNKENLY MADE TO THE AMERINDIAN PEOPLE!!!!!!eleven!!!!1one!!!!
Lmao
I like the RT4’s; have put ’em on two cars now. They’ve been quite, wear well, and not expensive. I’m willing to go out on a limb and say that since most people drive their Beemers no different than a Camry driven by an a$$hole, they’ll work just fine there too.
They are V rated in the 17 and 18″ sizes, and the 3 Series only calls for an H rating in both.
Which means they are actually a little more tire than a 3 Series has from the factory.
Of course, they are not runflat tires and in the staggered 18 and 19″ options, they aren’t available in one or both sizes.
Run-flat tires have stiff sidewalls to support the weight of the car when they’re not inflated. High speed rating tires have stiff sidewalls to prevent heat buildup at sustained high speeds. Swapping the latter for the former probably better matches the sponge-rubber bushings and zero high speed compression damping struts and shocks fitted to run-flat equipped BMWs than a non-run-flat tire of the same non-performance speed rating fitted by the factory.
Just as I’ve long suspected, Baruth knows a thing or two about the subtle “art” of being ever so slightly irreverent…:-)
Why does the mechanic say my V4 Ultima needs a Cadillac convertible and a head casket?
Because you fell for the banana in the tail pipe gag.
Is that why my breaks went bad?
Yeah, well…that’s the way the Mercedes bends….
Who knows why he said it?
Mechanics have their mysteries.
My hooptie went dead in the parking lot at Sea World. After I had killed quite-a-bit of time, the wrecker finally arrived; towed it off.
The wrench got under the hood. “You’ve blown a seal” he announced.
How did he know? NO ONE was around…I was extra careful I wasn’t seen…
I was wailing down a backcountry road in a beater and put a rod through the block.
Luckily for me, a few minutes later a truck full of rednecks pull up.
Them…”What’s wrong?”
Me… “Piston broke!”
Them… “So are we. Get in.”
Haaaa
I just put those General tires on my car Wednesday. Thursday in predawn darkness I came within 2 ft of hitting a log truck with no lights stopped in the the road. It was raining. Luck and timing.
They’re my go-to recommendation for a generic sedan/van tire if someone asks me for tire advice and they don’t want to spend too much. Not the quietest or smoothest riding tire IMO, but excellent wet traction, and good snow performance (within the context of an all season).
Are they not the smoothest riding tires in general, or are they even rockier than other 45 series all seasons? I’m considering some for a 2014 E350 that is driven by a woman who probably cares more about ride than handling. I’m tempted by the Generals because they have a high wear index and she has a long gravel driveway.
He wants in the mid five figures for ripping off Murilee? Astounding.
Wonder what I could get for “Unloved Classics with Uncle John”? $50? $0.50? I pay you $50 to read it? Lol
That’s his best offer! Take it or leave it! But if you leave it, he’ll be on the phone to you next week to ask if you want to take it!
Keep you hands off my Curbside Classic! It’s a happy place full of nice people, unlike this squirming nest of vipers and gripers. Funny thread, though…
Wait until you express an opinion or observation that doesn’t please The Great Founder.
There’s something not quite right with that guy. He must be a load of fun to be around, or maybe he’s just mastered Portlandia uni-culture.
+1. Paul makes Bertel Schmitt look reasonable.
I’m driving a rental Camry like an a$$hole right now. It’s really confusing the hell out of the other drivers…
I’m not sure how that makes you different from most Camry drivers I see.
I would be confused to see a Camry using its turn signals, not hogging the left lane, and not attempting to bumper-kiss the car in front of it at 75 mph.
Somewhat serious question, and remember I was a teenager at the time with limited knowledge, but….
Was I the only one who thought the Cadillac Catera was a RWD variant of the period Corsica-replacing Malibu? To the untrained eye, the Caddy looks like a badge-and-grille job.
I knew enough by my early 20s to understand that FWD and RWD vehicles would have to be on two different platforms, but I definitely see how someone could think they were related.
I always saw more of a resemblance between the Catera and 1995-2001 Lumina, though.
Yep, I knew one was RWD and the other FWD, but I guess i must’ve thought it was some kind of modular platform.
In related news, Ford is supposedly working on a modular platform to accommodate FWD, RWD or AWD. Not sure how the decision to indefinitely postpone the Fusion redesign has played into its development. Stands to reason the next gen would have been on the platform, along with replacements for Explorer, Continental, MKZ, Nautilus, Edge and MKT.
