PONTIAC, MICH. — Ford confirmed that Bronco Raptor is on the way during the introduction of the 2022 Ford Expedition at the Motor Bella auto show in the Detroit suburb of Pontiac.
Motor Bella is the shrunken, outdoors version of the North American International Auto Show.
No specs were released, but Ford did say to expect the Raptor for 2022. Whether that is calendar or model year is unclear.

If they offer it on the 2 door model then consider my interest very piqued.
I get the desire for brand-building but Warthog was a cooler name.
The Warthog will be coming. That will be on 37’s and more of a crawler. The Raptor will be more of a desert sled.
Warthog was the development name for the Bronco Raptor.

Considering Ford sued Ferrari for using the “F150” name (you know, because that may impact the F-150 sales with all the Ferrari trucks on sale today) I can see why Ford would be sensitive to using a name they didn’t think up.

So when my A-10 arrives once I figure out how to take off may I lay waste to every CUV I see?

At this stage, Ford revealing upcoming variants of the Bronco feels a bit like mid-90s Guns n Roses talking about their plans for follow-ups to Chinese Democracy.
No surprise, but should be exciting to see
